Maybe he's not too happy about escorting wifey around the globe for luxury free travel at the tax payers expense. The only reason he and his gaffes have survived the years is the questionable arguement that he along with the rest of the leeches attract tourists. | Philips DVD Up-converter? | | I recently got a Philips DVD up-converter, which is like a DVD player that up-converts regular DVDs (480i) to HD quality (1080i). We also bought a new Westinghouse LCD HDTV, and the up-converter's great. It really makes our regular DVDs look hi-def. However, older movies don't tend to look as good, and I'm thinking that might just be because they're of poorer quality? I'm not sure though, so if anyone knows if that's why or if there are ways to change the settings to make it clearer, please let me know! Also, do you have any reviews on this DVD player? | |
