Video Card Problem
I have 2 Dell XPS M140 Laptops and both have an Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family graphics card integrated into the motherbard. They both run Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. On one laptop, I can't run Media Center, play 3D games, use visualizations in Windows Media Player or sometimes even watch a DVD on it without getting a blue screen error. The message on the Blue Screen Error is different every time, but it mostly says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Can anyone shed some light on this?

Problem trying to boot Windows XP Media Centre from CD?
The problem first started when i attempt a duel boot from one hard drive useing Windows XP Media Center and Unix Kubuntu. Should have known better than to play around, story of my life i guess. First thing i done was boot Unix Kubuntu live CD, then it asks me if i would like to install, which i said yes. Then it goes on to set up time and passwords etc, then last stage was to partition the hard drive which i made a complete big woooper dooper mess off. Stupid numpty me asked it to completely clear the hard drive for instalation of Unix Kubuntu, thought not a big loss i will just reinstall XP Media (HA HA). Only to find that the PC was pre installed with an OEM Windows XP Media Edition. s#!? Next step was ask a friend to borrow his XP disk, (that was a copy) but it would not boot from cd. Thought it must be an upgrade disk or something. So i thought my next step was to download it from torrent site demonoid which i did. This is what the uploader said.Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 OEM Hi this is the origional OEM install discs for Windows XP Media Center Edition2005 . Fancy a new computer for free??
well I only just found out about this, and I gotta say I was quite impressed when I spoke with some of the players. basically the whole idea about this is simple really, it's an online game where you play the role as a pirate, and how you win the prize is by your referrals alone, this one of two prize computers that you could have a chance to win. Has anyone upgraded to Window's Vista yet?
I have a computer that is Vista Premium ready and am trying to decide whether or not to go ahead and upgrade to Vista. I am currently running Window's XP Media Center edition. I like the screen shots I have seen of the new operating system, but have heard that they have problems with their EULA and also that there are some compatibility issues with Apple's IPod. Has anyone upgraded yet? If so, are you having any problems with the new operating system? Any compatibility issues with any programs? Help me decide whether to upgrade or wait!
What Product of Microsoft U are Using?
I am using Windows xp Media Center edition.
U installed Windows XP Media Center Edition?
I installed it.I like it very much specially "Party mood" and "Windows dancer" U do installed it or like it or not?
what's better win xp or vista?
well everybody has his/her own likings . some say vista is better while others are of the openion that xp is better .i prefer win xp media center edition for use . it provides me with all the good services of win xp whereas it is devoid of problems of vista such as high g.p.u. requirement . well i have actually tested both xp and vista in a very prctical way . i took 2 identical computers and in one i used xp as the os while in the other i used vista as the os . now i logically compared their functioning . i found that xp was better in showing good performance in the field of office work, vista took more time for boot as well as for shutting down . other jobs in vista were a bit slower than xp but it has to be considered . vista was really good in showing visual effects . now i prefer xp still . but i keep using both xp and vista in my two seperate machines, one for high speed performance and the other for visual show-off performance .
